📋 Patch Notes — Shared Password, 2-Step Password & Codex Platinum

🤝 Shared Password — for lending your account

A second password you hand to someone else instead of your real one. Create it at the account-settings NPC, in the GAME ACCOUNT window.

• You check off what it CANNOT do — checked = blocked
• You can lock characters: checked ones can't even be selected
• You choose how long it lasts, 1 to 90 days. Once it expires, it dies on its own
• Anyone using it can't open this window, can't change any password, and can't create or delete characters

🛡️ 2-Step Password — to protect your login

If someone finds your account password and tries to log in from a different computer, the game asks for this second password before showing your characters.

• Your usual PC is recognized: it only asks on a new machine
• 10 wrong attempts lock the check for 15 minutes

How to set it up

Open the window at the NPC, type the password into both fields (4 to 30 characters, no spaces, no accents), fill in the validity in days (shared password only), check what you want to block, and click Save.

To remove one: clear that password's fields and save again.

⚠️ Important

• Anyone with the shared password gets in without needing the 2-step password — they're separate doors. Pick a hard shared password.
• Use a different password for all three. The game rejects repeated passwords.
• Never give out your real account password to anyone. That's exactly what the shared password is for.
